About Me

I was born in 1983 in a little town in northern Italy. After having studied, worked and lived in 10 countries, I now call Brussels (Belgium) my home.

I am passionate about people and fascinated by the resilience I have seen in teams, communities and individuals I worked with over time. Fueled by the courage of the many people I have met along the way, I take up the challenge of putting people and ecosystems at the center of my design to achieve sustainability and resilience.

Among the many interests I have, the theories and practices linked to systemic thinking and human permaculture provide a source of inspiration both for my private and professional life. Permaculture, similarly to systemic thinking, proposes an innovative, holistic, creative, and interactive approach that values the connections, networks and relations between people and between people and the ecosystem(s). Talents, creativity, transformation, resilience, sustainability, care are some of the key elements that I value and engage with in my work.

My career started in 2008 when after graduation I worked in East Africa as a freelance writer and researcher on human-rights topics for national organization. Later I started working for international NGOs in humanitarian and development contexts, and since 2010 I have had increasing levels of responsibility in project and program management, team management and organizational development. I implemented emergency, development and nexus programs, and as a generalist have been responsible for the oversight of projects and programs in multiple sectors (Emergency, Shelter, WASH, DRR, Protection, Food Security, Livelihoods, Education). I have experience with public and private donors worldwide, including EC/ECHO, Ministries of Foreign Affairs, UN agencies and numerous foundations.

I have lived in four continents, and worked on projects and programs in the following countries: Afghanistan, Armenia, Haiti, Kenya, Moldova, Nepal, Pakistan, Romania, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Uganda, Ukraine.

In 2020 I created Collab Consulting . The focus of my work as a consultant is to help organisations and teams create the conditions for developing further; help organisations adopt a bird-eye view perspective to achieve more sustainable outcomes; and assist international and national organizations in increasing management capacities to become stronger civil society actors and international partners.

I carry out assignments in English, French, and Italian.
